Biography of Hamano Jousuke / JoJo*Miyake

 

Born in Osaka in 1973. Now lives and works in Shiga. Graduated from Ritsumeikan University  in 1997 with a degree in History (minor in Education). After 15 and a half years as a company employee in Nagoya and the Great East Japan Earthquake, he became an independent family photographer in Minamisanriku-cho, Miyagi in the fall of 2012, and moved to Sendai City in the fall of 2013. In the fall of 2015, moved to his family home in Koka City, Shiga. Currently working as a family-themed photographer, Hamano Jousuke, while also creating works on another themes as JoJo*Miyake.

1973年、大阪市生まれ。現在は滋賀県を拠点とする。1997年、立命館大学文学部史学科（副専攻教育学）卒業。名古屋での15年半の会社員生活ののち、東日本大震災を機に2012年秋、宮城県南三陸町へ移住し、家族写真家として独立。2013年秋に仙台市に移転、その後2015年秋に実家の滋賀県甲賀市へ戻る。現在は家族写真家ハマノジョウスケ、あるいはその他のテーマでJoJo*Miyakeとして作品制作にとりくんでいる。
